Hosting Only gives you the underlying infrastructure (Kinsta hosting, SSL, backups, CDN), but you handle WordPress core updates, plugin updates and any troubleshooting yourself. Basic adds our team into the mix: we keep WordPress, PHP and plugins up to date weekly, and you have access to our live support team during business hours. If you have an in-house developer, Hosting Only is a great fit. If you don’t, Basic and above mean you can stop thinking about it.
Yes, and we’ll handle the migration for you. There’s no charge to migrate from another host onto our Kinsta plan when you sign up. We test everything on staging before pointing your DNS, so there’s no downtime and nothing breaks.
Your website is yours, always. If you decide to move on, we’ll provide all relevant files, credentials and a clean handover so the transition is smooth. No lock-in, no drama.
